The mission of the Kansas Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators is to provide the highest quality training and resources to fire investigators throughout the State of Kansas.
Kansas Chapter members receive access to single-day, multiple-day, and annual conference training events throughout the year. The Kansas Chapter of the IAAI also hosts the required 80-hour Basic Fire Investigation and 80-hour Basic Law Enforcement courses needed to obtain KSFMO Certified Fire Investigator certification.
The Kansas Chapter of the IAAI has also placed an emphasis on professional development by assisting our members in obtaining IAAI Certifications such as Certified Fire Investigator, Fire Investigator Technician, Evidence Collection Technician, Certified Instructor, and Motor Vehicle endorsement. Some of these credentials are instructed, tested, and facilitated by Kansas Chapter members.
To become a member, you must meet the criteria established within the Kansas Chapter IAAI bylaws, have a career in the field of Fire Investigation, and be sponsored by a current member of the Kansas Chapter.
