The Kansas Chapter of the IAAI offers some of the best training you will find in the field of Fire and Arson Investigation. Annually we offer 32 hours of face to face training with some of the best experts in their field covering topics in 1033 for annual continuing education requirements.

Each year we offer either the 80 Hour Basic Fire Investigation Class or the 80 Hour Basic Law Enforcement Class. The Kansas Chapters 80 Hour Basic Fire Investigation Class meets the requirements of the NFA's Fire Investigation: Essentials (R0772 or R0206) and is accepted by the Kansas State Fire Marshal for Certification of CFI Level I. The Kansas Chapters 80 Hour Basic Law Enforcement Class qualifies the Fire Investigator to be Certified as CFI Level II through the Kansas State Fire Marshals Office.

In addition, the Kansas Chapter strives to offer up to two additional annual training sessions including topics in Vehicle Fires, Psychology of Arsonists, Fire Related Death Investigation, and many more.

The Kansas Chapter also has local facilitators for the Expert Witness and Courtroom Testimony course which can be used to apply to sit for the IAAI Certified Fire Investigator test.
