Welcome to the Kansas Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators. Awarded with the 2019 James L. Smith Outstanding Chapter Award by the International Association of Arson Investigators, we are dedicated to providing training and support for our members in the furtherance of excellence in Fire Investigations and the suppression of Arson. We offer annual training supporting continuing education requirements, 80 hour Fire Investigation, 80 hour basic law enforcement and critical training by the top experts in their fields on fire investigative topics. Becoming a member gains you the ability to apply and attend these critical training offerings at a discounted rate.
The KS Chapter even has Scholarships available for our 80 hour classes to assist with Investigators whose department can’t fund the course fees. You also gain the advantage of networking with over 300 of the State’s top Fire Investigators from local jurisdictions, private agencies, the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s office in addition to attorneys and engineers that have been accepted as members of one of the Countries top IAAI Chapters.
